Serving all three Delaware counties from Cambridge
Portable Storage Containers in Delaware
Weatherproof containers delivered to Sussex, Kent and New Castle County — Seaford, Georgetown, Millsboro, Lewes, Rehoboth, Dover, Milford and Smyrna. $99 to $179 a month.

Delaware is a short run over the line from our Cambridge lot, and we've been crossing it for years. Beach-town turnover in Lewes and Rehoboth keeps us busy every spring and fall. Seaford and Laurel call for renovations and farm equipment. Dover, Milford and Smyrna households use a container between settlement dates, and contractors up in New Castle County park one on the job so tools stop riding back to the shop each night.
Containers Delivered Across Sussex, Kent & New Castle Counties
In Sussex County we deliver to Seaford, Laurel, Georgetown, Millsboro, Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Milton, Bridgeville and Selbyville. In Kent County we run to Dover, Milford, Smyrna, Camden and Harrington. In New Castle County we cover Middletown, Newark, Bear, Wilmington and the towns in between.
A few Delaware notes worth knowing before you book: beach towns have their own rules about anything parked in the right-of-way, so plan on the driveway. Sandy and low-lying lots are common near the coast — we set the unit on the firmest, highest ground available so water drains away from it. And rural western Sussex lanes can be tight; tell us on the phone and we'll bring the right truck approach.
Sizes & Pricing for Delaware Deliveries
Same published monthly rates as every address we serve. The only thing that changes is the flat delivery trip, which we quote by address before you book and bill each way — once on delivery, once on final pickup. Full details are on our container pricing page.

Common Uses in Delaware
- Moving between houses — load once in the driveway over a week instead of racing a rental truck between settlements. Moving containers
- Kitchen and bath renovations — cabinets, furniture and flooring stay dry and out of the crew's way. Renovation storage
- Contractor job sites — a locked box on the lot for tools and material. Job site storage
- Estate cleanouts — sort at your own pace instead of on a dumpster's schedule. Estate cleanout storage
- Boat and marina gear — canvas, cushions, lines and winter equipment off the deck and out of the weather. Boat storage
Why Delaware Customers Call Us
Our units are wood-built rather than steel. Metal containers sweat in coastal humidity and that condensation lands on mattresses, upholstery and paperwork; wood breathes, which is why we've stayed with it since 2006. Everything sits at ground level, so you're not carrying a dresser up a ramp. And you're calling a family-owned Cambridge company, not a national dispatch center — the person who quotes your storage pod is the person whose truck shows up.
Delaware Storage FAQs
- Do you deliver to all three Delaware counties?
- Yes. We deliver portable storage containers throughout Sussex, Kent and New Castle Counties — from Seaford, Laurel and Georgetown up through Milford and Dover to Smyrna and the New Castle County suburbs. Delaware addresses are quoted individually since they sit beyond our published Maryland zone map.
- How much does delivery to Delaware cost?
- Monthly rates are the same $99 to $179 you'd pay in Maryland. The delivery trip is a flat fee quoted by address before you book, billed each way — once for the drop-off and once for the final pickup. There are no mileage or fuel surcharges added afterward.
- Can I keep a container at a beach rental in Lewes or Rehoboth?
- On private property with the owner's permission, yes. Beach towns often have their own placement and permit rules for anything in the right-of-way, so plan on the driveway rather than the street and check with the town if you need longer than a few weeks.
- Will the container sink into sandy Sussex County ground?
- Not usually. The tilt-bed truck sets the unit down level and we choose the firmest ground available on your lot. On soft or sandy sites we can set it on planking — mention the surface when you call and we'll plan the placement.
- Can you move a loaded container from Delaware to Maryland?
- Yes. We can pick up a loaded container in Delaware and deliver it to a new address on the Shore, or store it on our gated Cambridge lot until you're ready for it.
