How Pod Delivery Works

Call and tell us what you're storing and where it's going. We'll recommend a size, quote the monthly rate and your zone's delivery fee on that call, and give you the next open delivery day. Deliveries and pickups run Monday through Friday, usually within a few business days.

On delivery day our tilt-bed truck sets the pod on the ground where you want it — a driveway, side yard, gravel pad, or parking lot. Ground level, so there's no ramp, no elevator, and no lifting boxes above your waist. You keep the key. When you're done, one call schedules the pickup; if you'd rather not keep the pod at home, we can haul it back to our gated Cambridge lot and store it loaded, or deliver it to your new address as a loaded box move.

What Fits in Each Pod Size

The 8' x 8' holds about one room of furniture or 20–30 boxes — a studio apartment, a staged living room, or the seasonal gear crowding the garage. The 8' x 12' takes two to three rooms and is the size most renovation and overflow customers land on. The 8' x 16' covers three to four rooms, roughly a small apartment or a crew's tools and materials. The 8' x 18' adds room to spare for about four rooms, and the 8' x 20' handles a full household with the garage included.

How much does a storage pod cost per month?

Our pods rent from $99 to $179 a month plus Maryland sales tax, depending on size: 8'x8' $99, 8'x12' $139, 8'x16' $159, 8'x18' $169, and 8'x20' $179. On top of the monthly rate there's a flat per-trip delivery fee of $50 to $100 based on your delivery zone, billed each way — once to drop the pod off and once to pick it up.

Do you deliver pods to Easton or Salisbury?

Yes. Easton sits in our Zone 3 ($75–$80 per trip) and Salisbury in Zone 4 ($90 per trip). We also deliver to St. Michaels, Oxford, Trappe, Fruitland, Delmar, Denton, Chestertown, Centreville and across all of Delaware. Deliveries and pickups run Monday through Friday.

Can I keep the pod on my driveway?

Yes — that's how most of our customers use them. We need a reasonably level spot about 10 feet wide with clear overhead access so the tilt-bed truck can set the pod down. Driveways, side yards, gravel pads and parking lots all work. Load it at your own pace and keep it as long as you need, month to month.

How is this different from PODS or U-Haul U-Box?

A Box is a Cambridge, Maryland company that has been delivering on the Eastern Shore since 2006, so your pod comes off our own truck from our own lot on Goodwill Ave and the price is a published monthly rate plus a flat per-trip delivery fee by zone — no long-haul or nationwide transport pricing.
